Our client is a well-established, multichannel marketing agency in Nottinghamshire.
They have a great opportunity for a Development Designer/Cardboard Engineer to join their award-winning team who design semi-permanent displays and packaging concepts for well-loved global and high-street brands.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively alongside 3D designers, graphic designers, engineers and project managers.
You will be a problem solver who loves a challenge and works well as part of a diverse team to take highly creative concepts through to a final product or display.
You will have proven experience in engineering software such as ArtiosCAD, AutoCAD, Kasemake, Impact or similar.
Key Responsibilities:
Generating award-winning cardboard engineering cutter guides.
Weight-testing and experimentation with new structures, prototypes and materials.
Tackling a range of briefs from simple shelf trays to complex free-standing displays and events sites.
Pushing the boundaries of the possible and challenging convention.
Key Requirements:
Experience of working on both POS and Packaging is essential.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
Awareness of value engineering and how to develop manufacturing efficiencies.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to liaise with designers and sales teams to ensure designs adhere to client specification and retail guidelines.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced studio environment.
Ability to juggle multiple jobs with ease.
Team player.
This is offered as a full time permanent job and our client requires someone who is happy to work onsite, full time, at their offices in Nottinghamshire.
