Our client is a well-established Creative Consultancy business, specialising in Licensing, Branded Apparel and Style Guides, delivering innovative solutions to Retail, Licensors and Licensees.
 
They have a great opportunity for a Junior/Midweight Graphic Designer to join their innovative team in Derbyshire.
 
You will play a key role in supporting across a wide range of projects and varied clients, responsible for crafting small projects and supporting on larger ones.
 
As a Junior Designer/Midweight Designer, you will report to the wider team, who will support and aid in your development within the company.
 
You will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs across a wide, varied range of brands, working to develop concepts and artworking to a high level of quality.
 
The successful candidate will have a real interest in brand licensing and be looking to make a real creative impact.
 
Key Requirements:
Educated to a degree level within a design related subject.
Previous experience within a design agency.
Highly talented and informed Graphic Designer.
Key skill and passion for branding and packaging.
A good understanding of print and artwork requirements.
An understanding of key design principles such as grid systems and typography.
The ability to work well as part of a team and take on board critiqued constructive feedback.
A strong portfolio of relevant industry work that shows your key skills, handwriting and
creativity.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
Possess a creative flair, originality and strong visual aesthetic sense.
Keen eye for detail.
Ability to manage own time to prioritise deadlines and requirements accordingly.
Versatile and collaborative.
 
A UK Driver’s License and access to a vehicle is essential for this role.
 
This is offered as a full time permanent job and our client requires someone who is happy to work onsite, full time, at their offices in Derbyshire as they do not offer hybrid or remote working.
